Temple Sholom offers education for children pre-school through Confirmation. Our Education Director, Lori Green, joined the professional staff of Temple Sholom in 1998. Lori has had more than twenty years experience in Jewish education including the creation and implementation of Kol Hamishpacha, a family education alternative to traditional religious school.

Our young people begin attending Sunday Religious School in Kindergarten. Our mid-week Hebrew language program engages children in third through sixth grade. Seventh through ninth graders engage advanced topics in our T.S. High program on Monday evenings. Student courses are designed on a quarters system, so the teens can choose from a large array of classes – changing 4 times each year. These are as diverse as Advanced Hebrew, The Jewish People's Court or Jewish Women Writers as well as many others. Our TS High program culminates in Confirmation in tenth grade. For teens interested in continuing their Jewish education, our Rabbi offers a post-confirmation program.
