SISTERHOOD
Sisterhood is an active and caring group which encompasses women of all ages. Our Board, which usually meets on the first Tuesday of the month, is open to all Sisterhood members. Programs are held once a month and rotate between mornings, afternoons and evenings to accommodate our members’ lifestyles and schedules.
Sisterhood operates a full service gift shop,target The Gift Garden which features a bar/bat mitzvah gift registry, an invitation service, personalized kippas, tallits, ketubas, Passover wines, other Judaica, and snacks. Proceeds from The Gift Garden benefit the Temple. Volunteers operate the Gift Garden. We are always looking for additional volunteers.
This dynamic organization also sponsors a variety of Temple events and programs, including a Hanukkah Bazaar, scholarships, numerous Tzedakah projects, bima baskets, college gifts, mitzvah corps, etc. Sisterhood's activities generate significant funds for our congregation.
Welcome
We invite all members to attend our monthly Board meetings. Bring your ideas and cooperative efforts. There are many opportunities to volunteer. Join us for our special monthly programs scheduled throughout the year. See our calendar below . Guests are always welcome! Our fundraising projects include invitations (Bar/Bat Mitzvah, wedding, etc.), a gift registry, Shana Tova greeting cards, Bima Baskets, our own Temple Member Cookbooks, the Gift Garden (our very own gift shop), Happiness and Memorial Cards, a Hanukkah Bazaar and Mishloach Manot (Purim bags).
Gift Garden
The Sisterhood runs the Gift Garden shop at the Temple where you can find many Judaic gifts and supplies for the Holidays and other occasions.
