1. Will this change the price of my Amazon order?
No. A percentage of the price you would normally pay for your Amazon order is what is awarded to the Temple. So the price you pay is the same, however, a small percentage of that price goes to the Temple as a commission. The only difference is we ask that you use the links on this page to visit amazon.com.
2. Will this change anything about the ordering process on amazon.com?
No. Once you're referred to Amazon, everything is the same: you enter your ordering information directly onto Amazon's secure site. Everything happens through amazon.com. The Temple web site just refers you there and tells Amazon that you have been sent from the its site so that the Temple can receive the funding. Temple Sholom's web site will have none of your personal ordering information other than total purchases and amount earned. The Temple site collects no data, it is just a portal to Amazon that earns a commission by being such a portal.
3. How long will Temple Sholom be doing this?
We plan to do this indefinitely. We will direct all proceeds to operations and programs at the Temple.
