Giving Opportunities
 A wonderful way to pay tribute to someone special and provide much appreciated financial support to the Temple is by donating to a Temple Fund. Consider making a contribution to Temple Sholom in Broomall through any of the targeted opportunities listed below. You can make a contribution to any of the funds by either clicking the “support this fund” button or you can print and fill out the contribution form at the bottom of this page and mail it to the Temple along with your check payable to Temple Sholom in Broomall. Please indicate the fund to which your gift should be directed, the name and address of person(s) to receive acknowledgment, and the reason for donation, e.g. in honor of, in memory of, with appreciation for.

By clicking on the “support this fund” button next to the fund you wish to donate to, you will be able to make an online donation using a credit card. All credit card donations to Temple Sholom are made using Paypal, a secured e-commerce service. You will proceed through three pages. On the first page you will indicate the amount you wish to donate. If you do not have a Paypal account, or do not wish to open one, click the CONTINUE link in the lower-left hand side of the page. On the second page you will select if you wish to pay by credit card or use your Paypal account if you already have one. On the third page click on “add special instructions to the seller.” A box will appear where you can put the name and address of person(s) to receive acknowledgment, and the reason for donation, e.g. in honor of, in memory of, with appreciation for.

General Fund -
Contributions support Temple operations.

Financial Assistance -
Contributions to this fund are used to offset the reduction of revenue incurred when a Temple Sholom family is unable to afford its total dues. Contributions go directly into the General Fund.

Rabbi's Discretionary Fund -
There are many instances during the year when our Rabbi recognizes a particular need. These funds may be used at the discretion of the Rabbi.

Cantor's Discretionary Fund -
Contributions to this fund may be used at the discretion of our Cantor.

Jubilee Endowment Fund -
A donation to this capital fund helps to secure the future of Temple Sholom in Broomall.

Temple Beautiful Fund -
Contributions to this fund help to improve/maintain the aesthetics of the Temple. This includes decor, furnishings, grounds and gardens.

Sanctuary Book Fund -
Established to defray the cost of purchasing books for our Sanctuary. A book plate will be placed in each book indicating the name of the donor and the occasion. A minimum donation of $36 is required.

Technology Fund -
To maintain and improve all aspects of technology used by Temple Sholom.

Hospice and Healing -
Donations to this fund assist the Hospice Committee in carrying out its support programs.

Tzedakah (Food) Fund -
Contributions to this fund are distributed at the close of each fiscal year to outside charities at the discretion of a special Tzedakah committee. Contributions help feed the hungry in our community.

Education Fund -
To support programs, special events and materials for education at all levels. Contributions may be earmarked for Women's Spirituality Group studies at the discretion of the donor.

Preschool Fund -
Donations to this fund help to support the programs of the Etta Natalie Rosenblatt Preschool.

Preschool Music Fund -
Donations to this fund support music programs in the Etta Natalie Rosenblatt Preschool

Howard Weiner Library Fund -
This is an endowment fund in which the interest is used to purchase books and supplies for the library.

Judith Bernick Music Fund -
This is an endowment fund. Only the interest may be used for the purpose of our music program.

Mayer Selekman Jewish Leadership Fund -
Donations to this fund will be used to provide grants for graduate study toward becoming a Jewish professional.

Marlene Kleinman Campership Fund -
This is an endowment fund. Interest from this fund is used to send students to a URJ camp each year.

Youth Scholarship Fund -
Contributions to this fund are used to send Temple Sholom Youth Group members to National Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) sponsored events. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need.
